FAMILIES WORSHIP TOGETHER
At Disciple Church, we value families worsihpping together. This means that we encourage all family members to participate together in our Lord's day worship service. We believe that families play a primary role in the discipleship of their children and so we seek to partner with parents in support of this vital ministry. We understand babies and toddlers may need help or attention during the service from time to time, and so, we seek to offer helpful accommodations for those youngest families.
WHAT ACCOMMODATIONS DO WE OFFER?
For children ages birth through 4 years old, we have a nursery available opposite the sanctuary for parents to use during the sermon. The nursery has a changing table and small toys available. Use of the nursery is not designed to be an alternative to participating during the sermon, but is avaiable if needed when children may be struggling.
For children ages 5 through 11 years, there are handouts available to help them follow along and engage with the sermon. We encourage our parents to train their children to listen to and take notes during the sermon so later discipling conversations can be had to facilitate learning from God's Word.
